3rd May 1692,

To: Karel Van Kinckel, General of the second squadron of the Tanjung Fleet.

You lil’ tyfushond, you thought I’d never find you?

I thought you were dead. Dried like an ugly plum on the shores of Bukit Candi with our brothers. Me and one-eyed Bert made it to the Ghats. I bet you thought we were dead, you bastard.

Imagine our surprise when we read the papers. Van Kinckel scraping the shit off rubies, revealing the treasures of the Bukit Candi to the fucking crown?!

You wicked pleurislijer. You took their pardon and for what? Medals? General my arse, they should call you the king of traitors. In the past we would hunt together and now you’re killing the last pirates.

There is no honour in what you do. You’re just a coward thief hiding behind a uniform.

You think you know our tricks. Remember we know yours mate. Think twice next time you pour yourself a little port eh. We’re coming for you.
