#1 – A Wandering Philosopher
Many a pirate, sailor and company clerk have passed me by complaining of the lack of dragon in this place. Apart from one. An old pirate (who claimed to have been given the name ‘Awful Joe’ by his mother) sat beside me as I wrote.
He held quiet for a stretch, and chatted incessantly. The old pirate’s primary concern was of the fire mountain nearby. It is the dragon protecting the route to Africa, he said.
Awful Joe beseeched me to stop the DMC and the Compagnie or else the dragon would be so incensed that it would bury the entire world in lava. So distressed was he that I found myself telling him I would.

From the rowing boat, bear left into the clearing. There may not be a trading or military camp in this space.
Travel across this camp (or clearing) towards the back wall. You will see a basket, bucket and grave.
The archive is placed on top of the basket.
