How fares thee, rogue?

Here you stand on the vestiges of Captain Houtman’s ill-fated camp. The Dutch pirate ran his ship, the Abrohos, aground and was marooned here for a great many months till his demise.

With the bones of a great whale carcass, Houtman constructed a sturdy shelter, which stands to this day. Whale bones, indeed, make for the solitary building materials on this desolate isle.

As Houtman’s miserable bones do remain buried here, however, his legacy serves as a discreet trading post for fellow pirates.
