The outsiders call them ‘Fara Charms’ but our people refer to them as Ody. From the littlest children to our greatest King, all in the Clan of Fara carry an Ody with them. The Ody shroud our cattle thieves, embolden our warriors and protect our seafarers.
Each one of these amulets taps into a power that moves unseen. It is how we have survived generations of war and treachey from the Sea People and their pirate allies. These pirates, they can only steal and pervert the sacred to satisfy their base desires. And now, they have taken our power for themselves.
It pains my heart to know that here are pirates who draw upon the powers of the Ody that we shaped, while they attack our people and destroy our livelihood.
